BANANATIME is happy to announce our collaboration with French creative director and content producer Selma Kaci. We’re excited to share the work we’ve created together and showcase the ways Selma put her unique spin on our bold silk designs.
Selma’s style is one-of-a-kind, modern and eclectic. She’s not afraid of a little — or a lot — of colour, and her keen eye for styling patterns and textures made her a perfect match for BANANATIME.Â
Born and raised in Paris, Selma grew up surrounded by some of the world’s most inspiring art and fashion, which led to her passion for design and style. Her positive mindset and genuine personality shine through in everything she does.
In collaboration with BANANATIME, Selma created an eye-catching, truly tropical Hawaiian look, a unique way to brighten up the workaday neutrals that comprise the typical urban street scene. Working with naturalfabrics, vivid colours, and lively patterns, Selma and BANANATIME created a fresh ensemble designed to bring the feel of tropics to the city.Â
Selma’s playful new take on our iconic Hawaiian shirt brings to mind the ease and serenity of an island vacation. The vibrant mix of prints and colours make you feel like you’re on your way to dinner al fresco or headed to the beach, even if you’re just relaxing at home.
